The Adobe Application Process

For this application guide, we applied for a position as a Web Marketing Manager. While the application process seems to be the same for all positions, it is possible that your application experience may vary a little bit depending on the position that you apply for.

Before you can begin the Adobe application process, you will need to create an account on their hiring site. To create an account, you will need to provide a username, account password, your email address, and an answer to a security question.

When you begin the application, you will be required to answer a few questions about your eligibility to work in the United States. Additionally, you will be required to consent to a pre-employment background check. Make sure that you read each question very carefully, and answer honestly.

Next, you will need to answer a series of job-specific questions. Since we applied for a job as an internet marketer, we had to answer questions about our familiarity with web analytics, our level of experience driving results through various traffic channels, and our ability to use the website to meet defined business objectives. Obviously, the questions that you receive will be specific to the job that you are applying for.

After you complete the job-specific questions, you will have the opportunity to upload your resume and cover letter. These documents are required by their hiring system, so we wouldn't recommend beginning the attachment until you have one prepared. Additionally, you should take a few minutes to customize your resume for the position that you are applying for. This is your chance to demonstrate a genuine interest in the company as well as the position that you are applying for. Even though it can feel like a pain to rewrite your resume, it's worth your time to make the most out of the chance.

You will also have the chance to upload any other relevant attachments that you may have. For example, if you are applying for a position in design or user experience, it would probably be a good idea to attach a portfolio.

At the end of the application, you will have a chance to review your application before you submit it. Make sure that you take a few minutes to read over all of the information that you provided. If it's all accurate and well-presented, go ahead and submit your application.
