The Walgreens online job application is one of the most user-friendly applications out there. From start to finish, it should take you no more than 25 minutes to complete, assuming that you've taken the time to gather all of the information you'll need beforehand. You will start the application by creating an account. You will need to provide you zip code, social security number, and email address to complete the account creation process. The Job Application
The application itself starts as most do: by collecting your personal information. You will need to provide your name, address, and phone number. Once you've provided your personal information, you will finally select the job that you'd like to apply for. You can apply for multiple positions at the same time, though you will need to select which job would be your first preference and which ones would be secondary. Read the description of each job carefully before making your decision -- it's possible that the best job for you is one that you hadn't really considered before. At this point in the application, you will be asked a series of questions about the position you're apply for. This is a way for Walgreens to make sure that you understand exactly what the position entails before you go any further in the application process. To give you an idea of what to expect, here are a couple sample questions: "I would be willing to work on special products." "I would stop what I was doing to help a customer." With the brief questionnaire out of the way, it's time to select the store that you'd like to work at. You can apply to up to two stores at the same time, which is nice (most places only let you apply to one at a time). The remainder of the application is focused on your employment history and references. You can provide up to two references (professional ones are preferred, but you can enter personal references if you would rather). If you speak other languages, you will also have an opportunity to note that.Assessment
After you complete our application, you will be instructed to complete an assessment. The assessment must be completed at the store you've applied to, so you will need to make a special trip. While it is kind of a pain that you need to visit the store to officially complete the application, it can actually be a good way to make a personal connection that can help you stand out and make a favorable impression.Drug test
During the application process, Walgreens will ask for your permission to perform a pre-employment drug test. If you decline, you will be unable to complete the application. Background check
Walgreens will also ask your permission to perform a criminal background check. Any offers of employment are contingent on passing the background check.
