The CVS application process is pretty straightforward, and should take you no longer than 20-25 minutes to complete if you take the time to prepare your employment history, education, resume, and cover letter before you start.
Before you can apply to a job at CVS, you will need to create an account on their hiring website. This is a very quick process, as all you need to provide is your email address and a password. You will also be given a choice to import your LinkedIn or Facebook profile. They will use this information to pre-populate some of the application fields for you. If you aren't comfortable connecting your social accounts, you can choose to enter your data manually instead.
The majority of the CVS application is focused on collecting your personal information. You'll have to provide your name, address, phone number, references, residences (last 7 years), work history, and education. Taking the time prepare this information beforehand can significantly speed up the application process.
You will also be asked to upload your resume and cover letter. If you already have them prepared, this will only take you a moment. If you don't, you can enter them manually into a box. If you do choose to enter it manually, make sure that you copy and save it for future use.

To complete the CVS application, you will need to consent to a pre-employment background check.
Drug test
You will also need to consent to a pre-employment drug test. Any employment offers you receive are contingent on passing this test.
How long does CVS keep your application on file?
